Season report updated: January 2026
These terms apply to this website and to every catch report or post shared in our community. By joining you accept them for your account.
Ice reports, photos and catch logs are shared by our community; please don't copy them for commercial use. We keep season reports current, but ice conditions can change faster than any page can.
Your membership is confirmed only once we reply to say so. Posting rules and account details are set out on the registration page.
An experienced local angler leads the outing, points you to the best local waters for perch and pike, and shares the group's auger, sonar and shelter for the day. You'll want to bring your own warm layers, get yourself to the meeting spot on the ice, and sort your own insurance — we'll handle the rest, from reading the ice to filing the catch report afterward.
Wind, thin ice or a sudden thaw can force a guide to move the group to a different spot or call the day early. Reports from other anglers on the lake factor in too. That decision always rests with the guide on site, not with the forecast.
Fishing on frozen water carries risk no community can erase — ice conditions change by the hour and no report is a guarantee. We're responsible for running each outing with reasonable care and local knowledge, not for conditions beyond our control, like a late thaw or a lake that won't freeze solid.
